He is deeply interested, involved and committed to civic, academic and community “quality of life” initiatives. As a strong proponent of issues affecting persons with disabilities, Mr. Adams has given his time, attention and service on the Committee for Review of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

He remains a key supporter of the Maryland Room, a venture that renovated an out-of-date reception and relaxation area at Andrews Air Force Base, Malcolm Grow Medical Center, for wounded servicemen and women returning from foreign lands.

Mr. Adams’ Community Service includes:

  • We’re Empowered To Achieve The Impossible/Women Empowered To Achieve The Impossible (WETATi): Encourages minority students to graduate and encourages minority women and men to reach their goals
  • Patriots Technology Training Center (PTTC): Helps minority students become leading engineers by bridging “the digital divide” for those pursuing STEM careers in higher education
  • Bowie State University Supporter: Supports students by mentoring and offering internships at SA-TECH Corporate Headquarters
  • Supports The Americans with Disability Act
  • Active participant in the formal Mentor-Protégé program established by the Department of Defense
